We are delighted to extend an invitation to you for an intimate tasting experience designed to debunk myths that may hinder the appreciation of Canadian wine. This exceptional event is being hosted by Marc Nadeau, co-founder of the Academic Du Vin, a world leader in wine education and Carl Boucher of Carl’s Wine Club. Carl tastes over 1200 Canadian wines per year as the founder of Carl’s Wine Club, a community of over 10,000 Canadian wine lovers across Canada. We will also feature esteemed winemakers Richard Da Silva from Da Silva Vineyards (travelling from the Okanagan Valley) and Ilya Senchuk from Leaning Post Wines (Niagara), who will guide us through a journey of taste and debunk misconceptions surrounding Canadian wines.

Throughout the evening, we will explore back vintages of Canadian wines alongside carefully selected international selections. Each pour will be thoughtfully paired with delectable small bites, enhancing the overall tasting experience.

Our special guests bring with them a wealth of expertise and passion for Canadian wine, promising an enlightening and enjoyable evening for all attendees. As you progress through the menu, relish the harmony of flavours with each course, from sumptuous crab cakes complemented by a selection of Canadian and international whites to the delicate seared scallop paired with light reds, including Pinot Noir from Niagara, ON, and a premier cru from Beaune, France.

Transition to bold reds with offerings from the Okanagan Valley, BC, and Tuscany, Italy, perfectly paired with a delectable mushroom raviolo. Conclude your gastronomic adventure with a decadent dessert course featuring the luscious 1988 Chateau D’Yquem, accompanied by a caramelized apple tart adorned with creme patissiere and rhubarb compote.
